Hi, I’m Summer.
Life takes some interesting twists and turns, doesn’t it?
I am a former radio DJ turned marketer and copywriter. I started this blog as a hobby many years ago because writing and sharing ideas makes me come alive.
After many years of developing my marketing chops as a salaried employee for various small businesses, I decided to become a solopreneur in 2019, so I could help many businesses create marketing material that works for them while achieving the autonomy and time freedom I had come to desire.
If I was independently wealthy, I would split my time between outdoor adventures, traveling, reading, creating content (I also have a YouTube channel), and volunteering for causes I am passionate about. I do all those things now, but it turns out that getting work done for clients usually takes the bulk of my time. 🙂
I blog and record videos about things that fascinate me, including theology/Biblical studies, fitness, productivity, optimizing one’s life for greatest fulfillment, the complexities of human nature, and of course topics about all those other things I pursue with my time.
I like to have fun and am blessed to be married to a guy that does also. We have two cats, Marge and Roger.
My love for the God of the Bible and gratitude for His salvation colors everything about my life and the way I choose to live it.
